My Korean Bucket list

I think I suffer from a serious case of FOMO (fear of missing out) fomo

and this is why when I travel somewhere I am always meticulous with my planning and research.  I want to make sure I get to see everything a place has to discover.

For this reason I have drawn up a Korean Bucket list of things I want to see or do.  I will be going through the list and writing a post on each thing I have scratched off the list. I also add some things to the list after I have done them as this way I can keep track of everything and write about them.

My first post….finally

Well, it’s taken me almost 3 months to write my first blog post.  Even though I set my blog up within the first 2 weeks.

I just always seem busy and I often think that, “oh, I must remember this, this would be a good blog topic.”, or “When I finally get my blog up and running I must definitely write about this.”

I don’t just want to have a blog that follows what I do but rather one that can also help others coming here.  For a land that has so many foreigners coming to visit it is surprising how little info there is on certain things and how many things actually contradict each other.  The reason for this is that Korea, even though it is small, has a vast amount of variety.  Someone living in Seoul will have a totally different experience to someone living in the rural areas, i.e. me.   There are many different things I wish people would have told me, and others things I wish they hadn’t, because I listened and they were wrong.  Everything is different here and I look forward to sharing it all with you.
