My Korean Bucket List

I think I suffer from a serious case of FOMO (fear of missing out) fomo

and this is why when I travel somewhere I am always meticulous with my planning and research.  I want to make sure I get to see everything a place has to discover.

For this reason I have drawn up a Korean Bucket list of things I want to see or do.  I will be going through the list and writing a post on each thing I have scratched off the list. I also add some things to the list after I have done them as this way I can keep track of everything and write about them.

  1. Wow! This is a pretty exciting list. And you ate live octopus? Amazing! I saw that on TV, unfortunately the guy was ushered out in a stretcher. That was probably very unusual, right? 🙂

    1. It is unusual but you do get warned about it. 6 people a year die of the suction cups getting stuck to their throat and them choking. You are supposed to (apparently) keep soju near as when they get stuck you take a shot of soju and the suctions cups let go (because of the alcohol). I find you just have to chew really well and you will be fine.

  2. But they are ALIVE! I give you major props for having the courage to chew live octopus really well. I can’t even … 🙂
